Ministry of Defence Launch ELCAS funding

We are pleased to advise that the new Ofqual Level 3 Diplomas in Commercial Locksmith and Property Security and Automotive Locksmiths and Vehicle Security, have been approved for the Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELC) by the Ministry of Defence (MOD).

The MOD’s ELCAS tuition funding promotes lifelong learning for Armed Forces personnel, providing financial support in the form of a single up-front payment in each academic year, for a maximum of three separate financial years. ELC funding is available for pursuit of higher-level learning on courses which result in a nationally recognised qualification at level 3 or above on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) for England, Northern Ireland and Wales.

CORGI Fenestration registered centre, Train Locksmiths, has been approved as a provider for the funded qualifications.

Eligibility

First, you must already be registered to become a Scheme Member and have accrued a sufficient amount of service before you can submit a claim. If you are still serving, speak to your local Education Staff as they will be able to check your entitlement for you. However, if you have left the forces, please contact ELCAS as they can make the appropriate checks. Please remember, you must be able to provide a completed Course Evaluation document to enable your claim to be processed.
